What Cola Ice tastes like

The fizz is the first thing you notice, and under it there is a genuine bitterness that most cola flavours skip. The ice on the exhale sharpens it further rather than smoothing it out. It tastes like a cold can, which is why it works, and the bitterness is what stops it becoming a syrup. An acquired taste, and a good one. The cold finish on the YO is what makes a cola flavour read as a cold drink rather than a sweet.

How the WALA YO 18000 holds up day to day

The run length works out at somewhere between two and four weeks of ordinary use, which is the whole point of choosing it. The screen shows battery and tank level at once, the tank is clear so there is never a reason to wonder how much is left, and the coil holds its character right to the end.

Who the WALA YO 18000 PUFFS Cola Ice suits

• Anyone who wants cola ice and has been disappointed by what passes for it in other devices.
• Vapers who would rather buy a device they will finish than one they will replace early.
• People who want one device to last the month, and anyone tired of replacing disposables every week.
• First-time buyers who want something simple: you draw from the mouthpiece with nothing to set up, and there is nothing to set up.

How to use the WALA YO 18000 PUFFS Cola Ice

1. Open the box and take it out. It arrives charged and filled, so there is nothing to prepare.
2. Draw slowly through the mouthpiece rather than taking a hard pull. Most of the flavour is in the middle of the draw.
3. Keep an eye on the display or the tank window, and finish the device rather than pushing it past the end of the juice.
4. Put the used device in a battery recycling bin. Disposables with a lithium cell should not go in household rubbish.
